    ENVIRONMENT

A redevelopment at Westfield Hurstville facilitated numerous changes in the centre’s operations including some significant amendments to the retailer waste disposal processes.

    World Recycle Week

During H&M’s World Recycle Week, the fashion retailer opened its doors worldwide for people to drop unwanted clothes to be recycled into new clothes, or re-worn. Its global goal was to collect 1,000 tonnes of unwanted clothing and turn them into new ones without using additional materials. H&M collected 7,500kg of unwanted garments and textiles during the week.
