A major part of our Reconciliation Action Plan is our Indigenous Employment program. We’ve partnered with Aboriginal Employment Strategy (AES) and the AFL Sports Ready program to make sure we’re on the right path.

Traineeships
Annually, we aim to offer 40 school-based traineeships to secondary students in Years 11 and 12. The two-year program prepares students for placement in entry-level roles after graduation by working eight hours every week in Westfield centres. This year, 18 of the 22 students graduated with tertiary qualifications through TAFE, the largest group so far.
